Houses and interior has always been my thing. As a little girl, I loved shuffling around with furniture, redecorating my room, and shopping at interior stores. And when I became a homeowner, you could always find me repainting the walls or buying new candles, pillows, and other accessories. No wonder I started with a career as a real estate agent soon after I graduated.
But the urge to style the houses I was selling kept growing. Till one point where I thought: this is it, I have to follow my heart now. That was when I started with an interior styling course at the Nia Academy in the Netherlands. From that moment on, things took a quick turn. I founded Vest Interiors, started working on my first holiday rentals in the Netherlands, and decided to make holiday homes my expertise.
And look where we are now: we're realizing holiday homes, rentals, and leisure projects on the beautiful island of Bonaire. And I'm not doing it alone. I gathered a professional team around me that helps import interior from Europe, provides advice based on their expertise, and builds kitchens, bathrooms, and other arrangements for our clients.

After our intake, we start working on a concept in which colors, materials, and shapes come together. This concept is presented to you, after which we refine it further and start making arrangements to realize the dream interior for your holiday project.
Close your eyes and think of the sandy beach, the golden sun, and the rough sea. That's it, you just picturized your new interior. Our minimalistic interior designs often consist of natural materials and light colors, in which we take the climate of Bonaire into account.
We mainly purchase high-quality products from our European suppliers, meaning your new interior needs to transfer from Europe to Bonaire. Most of the time, the transport will go by cargo boat, but it is also possible to transport products by plane.
From the pillows on the couch to the plates in the kitchen and from the candles in the bedroom to the towels in the bathroom. We ensure your project is delivered turnkey, meaning you can directly enjoy your holiday home or set your home available for rent.
Project Kaya Grandi consisted of two luxury apartments at the center of Kralendijk. We got involved with the project halfway through the building process. Our team delivered the apartments turnkey-styled and ready for rental. In this project, we played a part in the lightning plan, the bathroom in collaboration with Divino Bagno, and the delivery of the kitchens. We also worked closely with the architectural firm Streefkerk and the contractor.
We furnished and refreshed this recreational home in the Netherlands. It was out-lived and needed a modern and fresh interior. Nowadays, guests find the experience in a holiday home increasingly important. A rental should offer more than a bed, shower, and kitchen. It should give a relaxed holiday feeling. That's why we chose to reflect the beach theme subtly in the interior and use calm colors and natural materials for this project.
This luxurious 70's villa gives an outstanding view of the Bonairian nature. And we had the great honor of completely renovating it. To maintain the feeling of a calming nature, we decided to choose an interior that breathes comfort and rest. We have re-used some recognizable objects in the villa. For example, we restored the authentic marble floor and re-used the doors for the walk-in closet and bathroom ensuite. Speaking about the bathroom, we realized a bathroom facade that can open so the owners can shower with a breathtaking view of the tropical garden with a view on Klein Bonaire. In this project, we used high-quality materials. Let's take the floor in the newly realized wing of the villa as an example, which fits perfectly with the marble floor in the rest of the house. The beautiful marine steel taps we used are from the brand By Cocoon. Also, our team has equipped the kitchen with all appliances, from a hypermodern cooker to a sparkling water tap and wine climate closet. The quality of the Siematic walnut cabinets stands out.In the interior of Kaya Topaz, the combination of natural materials and messing touches create that ultimate comfortable, serene, and luxurious holiday feeling.
